So Typical...

A co-worker came over to tell me a story yesterday.  She started off "This is so typically Japanese"....

The gist of the story is that the authorities in Tokyo and Osaka had set up large temporary clinics in sports facilities to vaccinate people against COVID-19.  Initially, for a week or so, the clinics were running at full capacity.  Since then, they've seen only 50% of their capacity in use.  My co-worker said that is so typical...once the first batch of "Yes, I'll do it" folks are out of the way, the remainder have this "Oh, I can wait and defer to someone else" way of thinking....
