Simcity 4 - Nickel's Bay; Wrap-up

In this post I take a look at some of the characteristics of the movement of sims in and out of the town of Nickel's Bay.   This screenshot shows that the number of jobs in the town, 21,823, actually exceeds the population, 14,958.

The surprising thing is that there are a lot of sims heading out of the town to work.  There's over 3000 heading west...

And just as many heading east...

And those going east don't have a short ride either....

In the north-east corner of town there are freight trucks and inter-city buses leaving town.  The bus traffic is the the dark blue lines and the freight traffic is the light blue lines.

Traffic at the train station probably is a mess...

But not all sims landed jobs out of town...  These public works employees live somewhat close to their workplace.

And these sims found jobs just down the hill....

As for some of the business in town...I'm not sure why these buildings have such nice abs...

Here's a revue theatre (?) under the name of the game's software company...

Last but not least is a radio station...but it's not in Nickel's Bay.  I think it's in Colchester.
