One of my students, who has a very high record of absenteeism, surprisingly showed up for class this past week. Which is fine and dandy. He then started off by explaining one of the reasons for having been absent since mid-February, he had been moved into a different department at work. He then went on to talk about a case he is working on presently on account of his English skills, the details of which I won't divulge here. Actually, he shouldn't of told me a single thing about that case. I certainly hope that someone at work will review their confidentiality rules with him in the near future.
